The advantage of having an address bar in the taskbar is that you don't have to open up your browser to address a URL. This works great if you have, "Client For Microsoft Networks" installed on your machine. Client For Microsoft Networks will allow you to automatically log on with your User I.D. and Password without typing each. In a nut shell, you type the URL address into the new address bar and hit enter and you will automatically log on to the Net and access the requested page. The browser that you have on your computer will open up the web page. Much faster than opening your Web Browser and waiting for your default web page to load before you type an address into the address bar at the top. Here's How To Open The Address bar On Your Taskbar:
You should now have the Quick Launch with short cut to your desktop, Outlook Express....and to the right you have and address bar.
